WiFi Connect for Windows 

  • Enable Wi-Fi Connect in Files United
  • On your Windows PC press the explorer icon
  • Go to “Computer” on the left panel
  • Press “Connect to Network”
  • Enter the the URL displayed in the WiFi Connect section of your iPad or iPhone

WiFi Connect for Mac

  • Enable Wi-Fi Connect in Files United
  • On your Mac click on the Finder icon
  • Click on “Go” menu and select the “Connect to Server…” option and type in  the IP address displayed in the WiFi Connect section of your iPad or iPhone
  • Then press the “Connect” button

Opening files from Email

  • When in the Email program tap on the attachment
  • The file then opens in Email’s preview program
  • At the top right press the share button
  • Select Files United in apps section
  • The file will be opened and saved automatically in the “Recently Viewed” folder

iTunes shared folder

  • Plug in your iPhone or iPad to your computer
  • Open the iTunes app on your computer
  • Select your iOS device on the left panel
  • Click on the apps tab at the top
  • Scroll down until the section Shared folder is reached
  • Select the Files United app and and move the desired files into the area on the right by drag and drop
  • Note: Folder structures cannot be copied using iTunes shared folder
